Affordable Casual Turf Access for the Kāpiti Community
The Coastlands Sports Turf & Pavilion is owned and operated by the Kāpiti Coast Regional Turf Trust, a registered charity dedicated to providing high-quality sporting facilities that benefit our entire community.
One of the ways we achieve this mission is by making our world-class all-weather turf available for casual community use whenever it is not required for schools, clubs, sporting organisations or community programmes.
Whether you’re practising your hockey skills, kicking a football around with friends, introducing your children to a new sport, or simply looking for a safe place to be active, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy this incredible community asset.
Supporting Our Charitable Mission
Every casual turf booking directly supports the ongoing operation and maintenance of the facility.
Unlike privately owned sports venues, all income generated through bookings is reinvested into:
- Maintaining the all-weather turf
- Keeping hire costs affordable for community groups
- Supporting local schools and sports clubs
- Funding future facility improvements
- Ensuring the venue remains available for generations to come
